Students at The St Leonards Academy have been working with Dom’s Food Mission this week to make meals for members of the Hastings and St Leonards community that need them most. Donations from staff, students, parents, local businesses, as well as surplus food provided by Dom’s Food Mission, has meant that over the week, 120 students have participated in the project and prepared over 40 meals each day.

With the very kind donations we received, we were able to make stir-fries, spaghetti bolognese, chicken curry and chicken pasta bakes. All of these meals were prepared by The St Leonards Academy summer school students with love and we are very pleased to be able to help people who are less fortunate.
