Wizarding World of Harry Potter awaits Microsoft Office exam winner from The St Leonards Academy

A Year 11 student from The St Leonards Academy has been successful in a national IT competition.  He has made it through to the MOS Four Nations Championship Final in the ‘Word’ category.  He is one of 24 students who will be competing at the MOS Four National Championship Final 2018 on Friday 22nd June at the Design Museum in London.  The three champions (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) will have the opportunity to represent the Four Nations on a trip of a lifetime to the MOS World Championship at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, Florida in July.

The MOS Four Nations Championship, launched by Microsoft and Prodigy Learning, is for students across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales to prove their digital skills in Microsoft Office and battle for fantastic prizes.

Richard Seale, Head of ICT said “Everyone at The St Leonards Academy is incredibly proud of this student's achievement in reaching the Microsoft Specialist Four Nations final. He has shown real pride and determination in reaching the final despite being in the middle of his final GCSE exams and not having time to prepare. We wish him the best of luck as we all believe he is capable of reaching the world final in the USA this summer.”
