Zachary reaches the South East Regional Finals!

Zachary Allen has secured a place in the South East Regional Finals of the Rotary Club’s Young Chef competition. He was runner up in the District Finals on Saturday 26th January with his dishes of pan fried duck with plum jelly, followed by salmon on a bed of root vegetables and mussels with a butter sauce. Dessert was a golden chocolate ball filled with lemon mousse and raspberry coulis.  Zachary was competing with 5 other students ranging in age from 14 to 19 years from all over the district.  He has done amazingly well and we wish him all the best in the next round.    Mrs C Oliver
