Year 10 students from The St Leonards Academy were pleased to visit General Dynamics on Tuesday  22nd November.  General Dynamics is an international engineering business located a few miles from the Academy that employs 300 people locally.  Students were given a talk by two current apprentices about their roles and the careers that are available at General Dynamics. They were then treated to a tour of the facilities and shown first-hand the work of the company - including the making of electrical components for fighter jets and communication systems for tanks.  The students left with a greater knowledge of electrical engineering and apprenticeships.
